This semester I'm learning topics on facial rigging. For the first two weeks, I researched FACS and AUs, and discovered the animation needs for facial rigging. In week 3, I worked on setting joints and painting weight for the joints. For week 4 and 5, I started modeling and working on Blendshapes in Zbrush. For Week 6, I studied in node editors and connection editors to set facial controls to connect blendshapes to the model. My plan for future weeks is to set ribbon joint and controls for eye and mouth areas, and I also wanted to add more deformation controls and for this cartoony character to make it more interesting! I really enjoyed the process, and I'll keep digging more in this field!
