Traditional Chinese Painting - Birds

I painted it on the silk fan. Chinese painting style is very different from western painting style. It doesn't have to depict every detail of the object, but it focuses more on the artistic concept or perspective of the object. I love how simple flow of strokes depict the vivid mood of the birds, and the whole bird family is also in a happy mood. For the bamboo leaves, I colored them layer by layer and used the variation of color to show the positioning and lighting.
